KitchenPod at Swan Lane School

The school had no existing kitchen building on site, but wished to bring their meal service in house

Installing a kitchen within their existing buildings was not an option due to space and budget constraints

A modular KitchenPod could occupy currently unutilised land in the school grounds was a good option

The school specified a two unit KitchenPod

After installation, the school was able to employ their own catering team. Uptake of meals has been ahead of predictions, with staff and pupils taking advantage of the high-quality meals cooked on site

A celebration of the new kitchen, with a special Christmas menu, saw 300 out of 360 pupils opt to have cooked lunches
